This is an important feature that was missing in the 3.0 release. The iPhone OS released on 09-09-09 now has a tracking meter in the usage page of the control panel. If you don’t have a large plan like I do, this can make your life easier and save you from sweating a bunch while connecting your precious device to a Windows PC that downloads sneaky large updates in the background.

Piper Jaffrau analyst Gene Munster said: “We believe the company is most likely phasing out the 40GB model and possibly reducing the price of the 160GB model,” he said, “but a new model is possible given the hardware has been the same for 2+ years.”

That’s it, rumors were true. All iPods seams to ben EOL (according to Ars Technica). Today, Apple confirmed the media event for September 9th. This will be 09/09/09 a magic date.

WWDC is just around the corner. Next week’s corner in fact. Monday. Ill be turning 26 that day. I highly hope that Apple won’t turn me down this year. Steve Jobs apperance? Cheaper Macs? A new iPhone to make me spend another paycheck? Who knows… Christians have their Christmas and Easters, I have my WWDCs and Macworlds.

Lucky, I got out of my house for breakfast and BAM! There she is, that cute blond lady drinving a red chevy mounted by a stack of cameras. I quickly took out my iPhone while while she was waiting at a red light. She looked at me, gave me that little smile. I had goosebumps.
